What a Monday ...

Around 1pm today while I was at work I hear tyres screeching ... then my mom yelled George ! Hurry someone crashed into your car ...

I ran outside to see it ... A Toyota Raider hit another car and then crashed into my car ...

The guy apparently didn't see a car passed someone who was in the lane and then turned into the lane and rear ended the one car, after hitting that car out of shock he turned and hit my car ...

My car moved about 1.5m forward and then bumped a taxi (which had no damage luckily) . MX-5 weighting 1ton was easily moved from the 2.8 ton Raider ...

Now I have to wait for his shitty insurance Alexader Forbes to first complete their clients claim and then only process my claim ... How useless !!! My insurance (Budget) also useless said I have to go through his insurance and if I claim through them my premiums will go up and I will have to pay the excess ! When I told them, why can't they fight for me with Alexander Forbes as I am a paying client they said we can but will charge hahaha what a joke Insurance is in this country !!!

So now I have to wait a week before getting a hold of them ... what shit ! Alexander Forbes and Budget you both suck !

Yup, the joys of living in SA. UK you just exchange insurance company info and they fight it out between themselves. At least he had insurance and the car looks drivable in the meantime... Maybe worth getting them to check the brakes and gears depending how your were parked too?

I hope they do a better job, than what they did on our Midge 160I in 2006 after it was hit on the left rear door & axle. Rear wheel alignment was way out, even after 4 resprays they could not match the dark blue metallic colour. Worst of all is they were friends with my late dad. GL buddy. Luckily when I had a mishap on the Bantam in 2008 IMG send me to Cranbourne.
