Name is Cliff,
I'm early 30's and looking to own as many different vehicles as my budget will allow me...
So far:
-S40 T5 Volvo (179wkw - 390wnm)
-Hyundai Getz (Stock 50wkw)
-Chevrolet Lumina 6.0 SS (230wkw - 460wnm)
-Megane RS265 Premium (173wkw - 394wnm)
-MX-5 NC MK3.5 (84wkw - 141wnm)
Recently purchased, three weeks ago, a 2013 MX-5 NC MK3.5 named Lyla...
Car was bought for the wife and she named it even prior to taking delivery...
About the MX-5
I must say that I was surprised with it when I drove it. It's grunty and with the forged crank on the mk3.5 it happily revs all the way to 7600rpm-7700rpm with minimal effort. The suspension is great for driving around town though I find it a bit too soft for enthusiastic driving.
Pushing it through corners proved a delight as oversteer feeds in quite slow and the lack of serious power helps keep the back end where you want it...
The brakes are nice and solid with good pedal firmness and slow the little car quickly.
I do like the simplicity of the interior, seats are very comfortable though I've hit my head several time on the Roof.
Driving Lyla with the roof down is an absolute blast.
She gets lots of attention and feels great...
