Does anyone know where you can get good quality genuine parts from (apart from Mazda obviously). I'm looking for the drivers side seatbelt and retractor unit. Current belt still works fine, but sticks at points during retraction. I think the problem has been caused from years of clogged water drains soaking the belt mechanism in water Point is, Mazda quoted me over R6500 to replace the damn thing which I know only costs around $140 in the states. Help anyone?

Sadly the drivers side seatbelt is a known issue with the MX-5 all the retractor units fade eventually. There is a revised kit in the U.K for like 50pounds but then another 30 pounds postage ... Sadly locally I am finding it VERY hard to find parts. Still looking for a drivers side rear Fender if anyone knows where I can get one... There was a link I saw once claiming how to fix drivers side retractor ... will see if I come across it and let you know, mine has also given out but I won't spend R6500( as quoted by Mazda) to replace it...
