Good evening readers!
After breathing some new life into the engine of my NA, the time has come for some remedial & preventative maintenance.
In this case I'm referring to either fixing the scorched rear plastic window and zipper or replacing the entire top altogether.
I do have a time constraint, as we plan to embark on a road trip coming December. It would be nice to leave the ol' hardtop at home, let the roof down as we cruise along Chapman's Peak at sunset...
The question is: Is there anyone that I should consult as a personal reference?
As a note on when you consider replacing the entire top:
It seems to be way cheaper to buy a vinyl roof on Amazon.com and have it shipped over.
A one-piece black vinyl top with a clear window retails for $175 excl. transport, shipping, insurance and tax (should be around R2500).
Alas, the zipped-down section does provide a cooling draft of wind with the roof acting as a sun shield for those typical Pretoria summer days!

) I have hired the Rock Race way this Saturday 24 June, if you would like to come onto the track and use the strip you are welcomed to will be R300 per person.
